Mengpei Gao is the founder and principal lawyer of Ascent Lawyers, a Queensland-based boutique firm practising exclusively in personal injury and compensation law. She leads the firm with a clear sense of professional responsibility and remains closely involved in how matters are assessed, prepared, and progressed from commencement through to resolution.

Mengpei’s practice is grounded in honesty, clarity, and reliability. She believes that effective legal representation begins with providing clients with a realistic and complete understanding of their position, enabling them to make informed decisions without false expectations. She understands that injury often brings uncertainty and disruption, and places strong importance on helping clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.
