Rea Alcantara is a Legal Counsel at Ascent Lawyers, practising in the area of Personal Injury Law. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Palawan State University and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Mindanao State University. Rea is a registered lawyer and a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
Prior to joining Ascent Lawyers, she worked as a teacher at LifeCollege, a private school in Palawan, while also serving as a Notary Public. In this dual role, she gained valuable experience in legal documentation and client service.
Guided by the principle in Isaiah 32:8 — “A noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands” — Rea is committed to thoughtful planning and purposeful action in her legal work. She strives to be efficient and conscientious and finds fulfilment in creating practical approaches that simplify legal processes, making them more manageable and less burdensome for clients.
Rea aspires to become an expert in personal injury law and aims to support the training and integration of new foreign attorneys joining the team in the future.
Outside of work, she enjoys growing herbs, taking afternoon walks, and spending quiet afternoons at home.
