Xiqing (Sylvia) Liang

Xiqing (Sylvia) Liang is an Administrative & Marketing Assistant who brings warmth, professionalism, and strong problem-solving skills to the Ascent Lawyers team. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai, building a strong foundation in communication, organisation, and cross-cultural understanding. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, Sylvia is able to support clients from diverse backgrounds and ensure they always feel heard, respected, and well-looked after.

Before joining the legal industry in Australia, Sylvia worked for four years in a law firm in China, where she gained extensive experience managing administrative operations, coordinating teams, and handling client communication. Known for her calmness under pressure and strong learning ability, she is highly regarded for keeping matters running smoothly and providing reliable support to both colleagues and clients.

Beyond work, Sylvia enjoys music and reading, and is inspired by a genuine desire to help others. Influenced by her family and life experiences, she values responsibility, compassion, and integrity—qualities she now brings to her role in supporting clients through challenging times.
