Profile

Jeff is a 2nd generation Chinese South African. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin. This multicultural background gives him a strong sense of empathy and the ability to connect with clients easily and seamlessly.

For Jeff, advocacy is his core philosophy.  As Jeff sees it, to advocate is to act on behalf of the disadvantaged and to promote, protect and defend their welfare and justice. This means that he is a lawyer who ensures the client comes first. In essence, he wants to use the law in a way that would help people and make a positive change in their lives.

Jeff mainly practices in personal injury matters. He applies his philosophy to his practice with a client-orientated attitude. “Will my life be the same after the injury?”, this is a question that Jeff knows keeps his clients up at night. Motivated by a need to justly compensated his clients, Jeff uses this every day to diligently fight for his clients.

Another aspect of Jeff’s role is to enhance legal technology for the firm. He is well-versed in software automation and uses these skills to continuously improve the productivity and efficiency of the firm. Jeff believes by using automation and legal technology along with innovation, a modern day lawyers can be more productive for their clients and can achieve much more for their clients.
