An award-winning PhD holder specialising in quantitative analysis, Marcus has received two research awards from the Australian Government’s Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. He is also a registered engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia — a background that gives him a rigorous, structured approach to operational problem-solving.
Driven by a passion for automation and artificial intelligence, Marcus looks for smart ways to streamline systematic tasks and free legal practitioners to focus on higher-value work. He also works closely with the IT department on cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive client information.
Outside of work, Marcus enjoys building connections, engaging in a wide range of social activities, and keeping his five languages — English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujian, and Malay — sharp.
